A Word About Attendance

As you know, I am required to take attendance 2 times each week.  Because you are out shooting, then editing, I allow you to work on that all week without specific deadlines during the week.  To accommodate that, I take attendance each Monday morning for the prior week's post(s). 

Please post your best 6-10 images to the blog for the week's assignment.  They should show evidence of editing for light, contrast, focal point, color balance, etc.  I show you how to do that in the many videos on my youtube channel and linked from the syllabus.  Check with the rubric (linked in the upper right hand side of the blog) to see how you are keeping up with things.

If you haven't posted anything for the week, then I have to submit 2 absences.  At 4 absences, the college withdraws you from the class and from matriculation in the evening division.  Please don't let that happen... Instead, realize your limitations and withdraw yourself.

I want you to enjoy this class.  To get the most out of it, you need to be shooting and editing each week.  To have good quality work, you should shoot at least 5 to 1... in other words if you want 10 good shots, shoot 50, then pick the best ones.
